The day was pretty grey and damp, but Royal paddlers did well.
In the Dash Hounds, Royal had 4 of the fastest 5 paddlers with Flynn Holt as the fastest U14M, Freya Garrigan the fastest U14F and Joseph Woods the fastest U16M (in only his second race of any kind). Erin Redjeb came in a close third. Lauren Murdoch and Mia McGregor-Wood also did well, both taking time off their previous bests.

In the Hare & Hounds, Harry Lear and Michael Motha were as fast in K1s as they are in a K2. Almost all the other Royals posted improved times; highlights were Jack Carter’s 3m25s improvement in a K1 and Elise Montagna and Isla Barker’s 1m52s in their K2.
